Argus Autronic II 35 mm Camera

The "last of the bricks" was the Autronic II, manufactured from 1962 to 1965, after which Argus ceased production of its own designs and went to re-badged products of other companies and nations.
It featured an Argus Cintar 50 mm lens with apertures from f3.5 to f22. Shutter speeds were from 1/30 to 1/500. Exposure determination was by a selenium meter and needle display in the viewfinder/rangefinder. When set to automatic, the lens aperture was selected by the meter or it could be done manually. The knob on the left held the shutter release and focused the lens.
The flash gun utilized type 25 bulbs, clear for B&W, blue for color. It was powered by 2 "C" type batteries. The camera can also be used with electronic flash, using an adapter.
